UNDRCRWN Penny Hardaway Tees
Calling all sneaker heads, The Air Penny II dropped a few days ago.
And Philly’s UNDRCRWN is also paying their homage to the 90’s icon NBA player, Penny Hardaway. I can still remember from back in the day, the Nike “Lil Penny” commercials, with Chris Rock doing the voice overs for the puppet, haha. If you’ve forgotten or you’re some type of alien, click here to watch the commercials on youtube.
If you don’t understand the t-shirts, listen to Jay-Z’s Who you with II lyrics:
You can love me or hate me, either or
I’m a stay winnin, rock the custom drop Bentleys
Never eat at Denny’s and party like Lil Penny
can he live? Trick or main chick but if she leave
just as quick, Indian give, ha-hah
Nike Spring 2010
Since I will be no longer selling Nikes in FOUR days, I’m going to share a part of Nike’s Spring 2010 collection with you:
UNDFTD x Puma Mid 24K Pack
The Puma Mid 24K Pack drops in red, blue, khaki, and black for $125, and with the gold foil banger as the LE of the group (probably $150 or so).
Eighteen pairs of each color will be available at UNDFTD first (we’re guessing Feb since this is the Feb issue of XXL) before it spreads out to Classic Kicks, ALIFE, Atmos, Major, Premium Goods, Leaders and BDGA. The gold ones are UNDFTD location exclusives, 72 pairs total. UNDFTD doesn’t even sell Pumas, and they get a collab.

*Bonus* Women’s Air Max 1 Safari Pack:

Here’s a small preview of some of what’s to come from Nike during Fall ‘09. Releasing during July-September, many classics people have been waiting for will return once again along with some first timers to the retro scene.
The biggest news so far has to be the return of the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo. Two original colorways will return but here’s the kicker, retail is $160, ouch. But I’m sure that will not stop people from at least going after the coveted black/volt colorway, I will definitely be getting a pair. Along with these we have a new Penny II colorway on the horizon.
While most people thought the Penny II would end with the “Miami Heat” colorway in January (so no further damage could be done to this beautiful shoe), 6 months later there will be another. This one Penny lovers should not mind as it’s done correctly. You can never go wrong with an all black sneaker, ever. It features an all nubuck upper so make sure those planning to save these for the winter spray them down with waterproofer before stepping outside in them.
The runners of the world should be just as happy as the ballers. There will be plenty of new colorways of the Air Max 1, Tailwind ‘92, Structure Triax ‘91 and even the return of the Air 180. The “ultramarine” colorway of the 180 will make its way back onto store shelves for the first time since ’05s History Of Air series. Let’s just hope that more Air 180 colorways will soon follow.
Speaking of History Of Air, the Air Max 1 in white/sport red/neutral grey will also make it’s triumphant return. Word has it that some things will be different as far as material goes on these and the 180s so we’ll just have to wait and see, there’s plenty of time until they will come out. A few new colorways of the Tailwind ‘92 will also be released as well as some new Pegasus ’89s.
A new ACG boot will debut, the Air Max Abasi. It features a very retro look along with a nice array of neon colors on a black base. I think that these will be very popular and should take off as the winter comes back around with plenty more colorways to choose from. A new Terminator Hybrid will be thrown into the mix as well. Nike also is going to pay homage to the Huarache with several Air Force 1’s inspired by this classic. A brand new Air Max hybrid will also debut called the Air Max ‘90 Current Huarache.
This shoe features the Air Max ‘90 x Free hybrid along with the addition of the combination of the Air Huarache and the Air Huarache Burst. As you can see from the picture below, the Huarache logo is found on the tongue and the back heel is wrapped by a similar design found on the original Huarache runners. Retail on these is set at $120. We also have the Classic BW coming back out. It will feature a textile pattern found in different places depending on the colorway.
But that’s not all, probably some of the biggest news coming out besides the Uptempo’s is the return of the Bo Jackson’s. Yes the Air Trainer III will be released from January and continue in new colorways even in the fall, but the Trainer SC High will make it’s much needed return as well and in a somewhat familiar colorway. All you New Yorker’s should be happy with this one for sure. The only setback with these (and it’s minor) is that retail has jumped up to $105.

I just finished browsing the Nike Fall catalog, a lot of decent stuff coming in 2009. I’m all over those safari pack air maxes.

Puma Japanese Monster Pack

A couple of weeks ago we gave you a first exclusive look at the Puma Vintage Leather Pack, which presented a subtle line-up of high end sneakers. Today we show you something a little different – the Puma Japanese Monster Pack.
The Puma Japanese Monster Pack commemorates classic Japanese monster movies from the 1950-1970s with five limited styles. Each shoe style brings an iconic monster to life, highlighting its signature features with various fabrics and textures. The monsters artwork is printed on the sockliner and the tongue lining lists its skills. The amount of different materials and details on the pack is insane. The pack is anything but subtle, but if you are a monster fan, it’s a must have. You will find the First Round, Stepper, Puma Mid and the Clyde in the pack.
The Puma Japanese Monster Pack will be released March 2009 at a select number of retailers. In Germany you will be able to get them at The Good Will Out.

The Limited Edition PUMA Vintage Leather Grip Bag takes its shape from the original Grip and Globetrotter Reporter Bags to present a truly authentic style for today‘s heritage-loving consumer. Multiple zip pockets and a detachable shoulder strap are the main functional features, while the matte gold metal hardware and the subtle branding with the PUMA #1 Logo underline the sophistication of the bag. Atmos x Reebok “Hologram Neon” Pack

Atmos once again got together with Reebok. This time they worked on the Pump Omni Lite and the Court Victory Pump and created the Hologram Neon Pack.
The Pump Omni Lite comes in a silver/pink colorway, with the silver on the upper having the hologram feature. The Court Victory Pump comes in black/lime and the black on the upper has the hologram feature. At first sight both sneakers look very basic and only at closer inspection the texture of the upper becomes apparent.
Atmos will be releasing the Reebok Hologram Neon Pack on December 21st.

Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals Sneakers & Nike Terminator Heavy Metal
Two must haves for me:

Photography: Mark The Cobra Snake
Adidas Originals has signed a multi-season deal with Jeremy Scott to design apparel and footwear which is scheduled to release on February 1, 2009. The collection will be first launched in select boutiques and fashion doors and a month later in Adidas Originals stores.
And don’t forget my Nikes:

Nike released the “Heavy Metal” pack from Nike’s Sport Culture Indie department that features a Terminator and Vandal. Both come with a number of studs and as opposed to the traditional tags, the shoes come with guitar picks.
Yeah.. so guys…. my birthday’s coming up… JUST SAYIN
I know Lorrie’s stoked on gold shoes making a comeback.
