Superdope: The Party That Keeps On Going

Hi everybody! My computer died and I haven’t been able to update BUT IS IT ART? as frequently as I’d like to. I’ve been using a little netbook, which is nice but it’s not mine and I don’t really know how to use it. PCs are weird! Right now I’m in Lancaster with my family (<3). I was surfing the internet (buying things on eBay!) when got this tweet:

I think this should be really good; I haven’t heard of any of the bands playing, but their names sound dangerous (Javelins, Bufallos, Skeletons). I don’t understand how a skeleton would have breath. I’m not sure if I will like that band. I also think it’s neat that someone finally made a toothpick font for photoshop (toothpick sans?)
Anyway, I like that Sean’s putting out another zine. I don’t think young people pay enough attention to locally-grown creative writing these days, you know? It seems like half of the time being creative means reblogging a picture of Bridgette Bardot or a zany Kurt Vonnegut button. I think this is a solid effort in making storywriting cool again. I’m even happier that I’m in one of them!

As you can see, the covers on these are very nice. There are also pictures inside, and the typesetting on the stories is nice I think. I would scan a page or take a picture but I don’t really have a computer right now. So you’ll just have to use your imagination! Either way, you should buy a copy instead of dowloading it on the internet, which is really unethical. And, you should come to the RELASE PARTY, which is tomorrow May 17 @ 8 PM @ 1712 N. 2nd street!
Also, I think there should be poems in the zine too!
