All of this and more First June Friday~~More fun than waterboarding!

Hi. How are you. I know it’s only Saturday. You are still sleeping or if you are reading this you are hungover, drinking, or getting ready to go drinking and be hung over. You probably aren’t thinking about the disappointing at best clusterfuck that is First Friday. You know, like if you’re looking for something other than free wine and good people watching. Well. It’s supposed to be a nice (Friday) day (thanks weather.com) and you’ll want something to do. You’ll want to feel included, like you are at some kind of cultural happening. You want to be where your friends will be, and they will be there because like you they know what it is to have a good time as young tastemakers and world changers. The only question is when and where. You don’t have to go to old city; and you shouldn’t–give it back to Camden or Cherry Hill or whatever for all I care. There is another option; another First Friday. On Frankford Avenue!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

It’s that time again for another edition of handy dandy First Friday listings for Frankford Ave.  Summer is upon us, and flowers are blooming in the vacant lots and out of the cracks of old factories.  In between are our quaint galleries, our vivacious merchants, who once more are gearing up to for a night of fun, culture and of course, tasty snacks and tiny amounts of drink.

Hope y’all enjoyed the Derby, too.  I know I sure did.  This First Friday, keep your eyes peeled for a very special appearance by the Zombish team (pictured), the hands down People’s Choice winner from the KKSD.  Check out the website for their design company here <http://www.humankind-design.com/> .  They will be cruising the Avenue and camping out at the Caterpillar lot (2205 Frankford).  Also, Keep your eye trained on the Galleries at Moore, which be displaying several of the kraziest kontraptions from this year.  Ahh, legitimacy!
