Kris Chau “Puppy Face” tonight at Topstitch Boutique

The Topstitch Boutique (54 north 3rd street) presents “Puppy Face” new works from the very talented brain of Kris Chau.  The opening of the show is tonight (Feb. 5th) from 6 – 10 pm!!!  Sorry for the short notice, this show definitely deserved some attention at least earlier on in the week, but better late than never I suppose.  Ms. Chau is a Philadelphia based artist/illustrator who has created art work for such clients as Urban Outfitters, The Seattle Stranger, Bust Magazine, and The Philadelphia Weekly.  I should say right now that I am a sucker for artists that really have a handle on drawing people/figures in their own unique way, and Kris Chau is no exception.  Also the fact that most of the people in her recent work seem to be cute girls that I wish I could meet at the Barbary only makes me like her paintings even more.  Definitely try to check this show out, if not tonight, then in the coming weeks.  Thanks.
