Some of the great new features of Windows 7 are…

Improved task-bar: Similar to Mac’s desktop, there’s a task-bar located on the bottom on the screen, that visually display thumbnails when you hover over the icons. You can organize and rearrange your icons by dragging and dropping.
Jump List feature: You can quickly reach the files you’ve been working with by right-clicking on any icon located on the desktop or task bar. For example, if you right-click on a Word icon, they will show you the most recent Word documents.
Desktop Enhancements: There are now more intuitive ways to open, close, re-size and arrange your windows.
